Welcome

Thank you for being here. I'm Tara, and my vision is to support women to live with confidence, calm and self-compassion, creating a future where stress and anxiety no longer limit your potential.  Throughout my career and across my personal encounters, I've witnessed a theme with women feeling anxious, overwhelmed and unfulfilled but not knowing how to be any other way. Often there are a whole range of reasons, from societal pressure and expectations, trauma and stress, practical barriers, and the pressure of our modern lifestyle.

For the past 15 years I have worked in Australia and the USA in the community in non-profit, government and private organisations as well as private practice. I've supported people both individually and in facilitating group programs in areas of personal development, mental health, trauma and disability.

My belief is that we can rebuild a foundation of wellbeing through mind-body awareness, connection and practices, and this will profoundly and positively impact ourselves and those around us.

My Story

I understand the toll that stress, anxiety, and self-doubt can take on our well-being. For many years, I pushed myself to meet high expectations, constantly striving to please everyone around me and neglecting myself. This relentless pressure led to feelings of overwhelm and exhaustion, despite being aware of the unhealthy patterns I was stuck in. Anxiety and self-criticism affected my relationships, career, and even the moments that were meant for rest and relaxation.

We live in a fast-paced world that encourages us to do more, achieve more, and be more, leading to comparing ourselves and left feeling burned out and disconnected from ourselves and others. The constant pressure to manage everything can create cycles of stress and anxiety that are difficult to break free from and I genuinely feel that life is too short to continue living this way.

While I have always been dedicated to supporting others with compassion, I eventually realised that I needed to extend that same kindness to myself. Learning to navigate these challenges with self-compassion and mindfulness has transformed my approach to life, allowing me to manage stress in a healthier way and avoid the downward spiral that anxiety can cause.

With over 15 years of experience working with people in the community and trained as an Equine Therapist and Counsellor, I have supported many women facing similar challenges. I continue to learn and invest in professional and personal development so I can support clients with strategies that I personally know and use in my own life. I believe everyone is an expert in their own lives and everyone has the capacity for growth and change. When we can connect with someone who has lived experience and can relate to what we’re going through, we can move toward the right direction with greater clarity, support, and understanding, finding solutions that make sense for our unique needs and experiences.
